 I know it's trite and been done to death, but I've never tried it. ;-)

Water droplets on a CD. Used stacked 1x, 2x, 4x close-up filter set, and cross 6x filter. Lit by overhead fluorescent, halogen desk lamp, and red flashlight. Converted from RAW.

PP included crop, levels/curves, NI, sharpen, save for Web.

I've always wanted to try one of these too -- but I doubt if I could have pulled it off this well! This looks great! You did an awesome job! I'm surprised it doesn't have a higher score.

DOF at this magnification is razor thin, eh? Too bad as the OOF drops don't work as well. 4

Oooh, pretty spots! A few distracting bits and the blue/purple light is very bright, but this doesn't look like an easy capture, especially for a basic editing challenge.
