Have read some of the comments you got - and was afraid they would be like this. Grrr, this crowd is beyond me.
How on earth can someone say that this is "not a postcard" ? Have they never travelled?
I really like it, and you can be very proud of it. |

This is quite a learning experience for me.
I try to take all the comments seiously and
hopefully get better scores as time goes by.
I really enjoyed this photo and the making of it.
My friend - the model - had me printed it up and
frmed it for her mother for te hoildays.
To me, that already meant a lot.
Thank you all for the input !

another example of voters clubbing a photo because it doesn't fit "their" idea of a postcard.
Go make money with this - you'll feel all kinds of better about this ridiculous score.
:-)
BTW, my scores didn't end up counting since I didn't vote on enough images - but I gave this a 7 - I think it's a great shot and a product could be developed around it. |

Hey, don't sweat the result too much. It'd make a very nice notecard. In fact, I suggest you work it up and sell it on DPC Print. :)
DPC voters tend to think very literally about challenges. I see you're pretty new here, so just live and learn. |

| wow...beautiful. Not sure if it meets the challenge, it looks more "canvas" than postcard...but still nice. wish it was more cropped on the top and right side though. |

| hooray for you, going for a 'fine art' postcard (I was too chicken). most of the postcards I bought to keep for myself are of this fine-art variety & I would've paid for this one. It'd work for a msg because of the pensive feeling. you could've added a bit to the length for a more standard size. |
