 Well, this challenge was a lot harder than it sounds. It took me days of driving around to get any sort of decent shot of something with spots! All the cows and horses I saw were always just too far from the road. Our neighbors have a really cute spotted cat but it will never sit or stand still long enough to take a picture. Anyway, this will have to do for this challenge. Added a border this time - I hardly ever do but decided to be different for a change.

Editing: Crop; adjustment layers for levels and selective color; flatten image; midtone contrast adjustment; exposure adjustment with a slight bit of offset; noise removal with Helicon Noise Filter; add border; resize; smart sharpen; save for web.

The focus on cow's face is very nice, and lighting is good. Wish cow's ear were not cropped off.

Good catch of textures. Must be one of moust beautiful cow fotos I have seen. Moustly they are not that beautiful :).

I like this cow. I like hair on her head (is this a cowlick) and her big black eyes. I think I'd like to see her feet and left ear and all of her in sharp focus.
