 The is One Tree Hill in Auckland. The tree was chopped down a few years ago and hasn't been replaced. I was going to call the photo "One Tree Hill" but that would be too confusing. As an aside, the U2 song "One Tree Hill" is named after this hill.

This is my first real try at HDR. A bit of a rush given the dealine was 6pm on a Monday for me and the weather was bad today. A break in the rain at lunchime helped things. I went for the oversaturated look. The line between the ground and sky was very sharp even before I got this into Photoshop. I suspect that was as a result of the HDR process but I'm not sure. I would have liked to soften that a bit and also remove the halo from around the moument.

Interesting scene with grass covered hill, monument, road, and sparse trees, lovely colors, good composition. You probably wished for better light on the monument. I love it, and hope it does well.

A very lush and beautiful knoll. I alos like the composition. It seems to me the HDR processing really has the clouds competing for attention too much with the hill.

Nice use of HDR to bring out the foreground and allow the sky to stay at the correct exposure. However, the green in the grass is too vibrant for my liking.
