 This is from the Cascades, west of Blacksburg, Virginia. There's a nice waterfall there, so if you're ever near Virginia Tech, go take a look.

Conversion was by Channel Mixer with some curves. Really, these shots are better in color.

Looks like a nice wooded area but the photo is a little harsh. There's a little too much sharpening and/or contrast.

I like the tones but my eyes keep searching for a point of focus! There's nothing to draw me in!

Pretty but a bit hard to know what I'm supposed to look at. Finding a pretty rock or log that stands out might help anchor the eye.
