Never heard of this technique before but I thought I'd give it a go in CS2. Used 5 shots using BKT mode.

I had to shoot something indoors since the weather was crappy and they closed the Gatineau park already. :-( So the only nice thing opened on a Sunday was the basilica.

Hope you like it!

i think this is so good because it doesn't really look like the other HDR images. it has "real" colors.
Congratulations

Congrats on the top 5 placing! Between you and me, I like this one twice as much as the blue-ribbon winning cathedral shot. This one is so much more vibrant and 3D. (Not to say that the 1st-place shot isn't good, I liked it too, I just think this one has more powerful lines, and massively greater vibrance.)

Beautiful image, well put together. And well done on using CS2, its got a horrible HDR mode that hopefully they will sort out in subsequent releases.

If DPC was on a world tour this would be one of the stops. Great job. The only thing missing is a ribbon.

Gorgeous color!! Great detail and sharpness. A very crisp image. I love all the arches and lines and patterns, it is a very rhythmic composition. This is one of the best!!

The ceiling is probably the best feature here with the beautiful lines and lovely colors. Most viewers wont like this ultra-wide perspective with the columns appearing to lean in. Consider shooting in portrait mode with straight verticals, then crop - or else adjust the perspective in software, straightening out the verticals. Good demonstration of HDR. I like it.

Excellent composition!!! Nicely done all around. One thing I would try is to pull back on the yellows a bit, but still very nice as is.

Fantastic colour range here and a top 5 finisher in my eyes, only extra want from this shot would be the pew's on the right to be lit the same as the ones on the left.

This is definately a shot that would also have benefit from being able to submit a 720 pixel shot like in some challenges.

Certainly a picture I would be proud to have taken - good luck in the challenge 9

This (the scene not the photo) looks really familiar. I presume its because lots of people take photos of it. But where is it? I am thinking it looks a little 3d-glasses required.

The colors of the ceiling are amazing but the colors on the pews seem strange. I like the composition on this one a lot and the use of wide angle works very well

This is amazing. Great color saturation gives it an almost painted look. Great perspective on this as well. My pick for blue. 10.

This got an 8 from me. I love the coloring and the feel of it. It may go just a touch too much on the PP and the perspective seems a touch off. I would liked to have seen a little wider shot of this and maybe just a touch of correction in the perspective. Overall I predict a top 20 maybe top 10.
