I am so suprised that this didn't do better with the voters. It was my favourite of the challenge, and I like it even ore on this re-isit.

Love the tree and detail. Overall image feels a little washed out, revisit tone mappings and levels for more contrast and richer blacks.

Great application of HDR - nicely done!

this shot feels like being in a fairy tale with soft hues and highlight. I expect the tree could tell a few storys too.

this looks really cool! you should take an infrared shot from this perspective! the folliage against the building would look awesome!

Love the detail in the tree trunk though I think a little less processing would keep the colours from being washed out.

I'll bet at full res the trunk's texture is stunning - it's not bad at low res either! nice application of HDR

Nice effort to bring out the tree and not blow out the church or the sunny areas. The "focus" seems a little too soft on the ferns (a little wind?)

Perhaps a tighter crop would make the composition more appealing.

nice image and composition, but it still seems a little flat to me.

Looks like it should be an illustration in a story book... it really invokes my imagination... such an old and beautiful tree... such history.. a top pick for me.... good luck!!

Strange unreal effect - like a storybook illustration. Nice.
