what a fabulously ugly bird :- )
The best bit is that it has a look of faded elegance and grandeur about it - it's feathers make it look as if it is wearing some sort of wrap, or evening gown that has seen better days, and it's hair, beak and all the rest just look old and battered as if they too had seen better days - but it's still standing there wearing them :- ) |

| I used to joke that Maribou Storks mate with their wings over their heads. Probably as lovely a portrait as you can get with the world's ugliest bird. Nicely done! |
