 I was taking pictures of a herd of cows with fall colors in the background for a challenge in a local newspaper when I saw this one sitting by herself. It was just a question of getting the angle right to avoid getting the rest of the herd at the edges of the picture, and a very small amount of cropping.

This shot could stand to be a bit sharper in my opinion...maybe adjust the brightness and contrast.

Good solid image, well composed. I like the contrast of the colors vs the black & white cow. I wish the colors were a bit more vivid however. Lighting looks a bit off which may account for the slight dulling of the leaves. Fits the challenge well. Nice job!

This shot looks a little hazy to me...maybe try adjusting the levels to bring out the color some. Good idea for the challenge though!
