Taken at the University of California, Irvine, Gillespie Neuroscience Research Facility. Pictured is a UCI Medical Student who just happened to walk by. This picture is a section off of a larger picture, which had to be cropped because there were too many subjects, and it would have not gone with the topic.

I dunno...I am guessing you're trying to say that this girl has a nice bright future...
On the other hand, it looks like this beetle is the main subject of this photo...And it's parked in a handicapped spot...So, are you implying that this girl has a bright future by being handicapped? (Or am I just reading too much into this photo)

I am a bit confused on what the central focus is suposed to be. The car or the girl. If it's the girl (which is my first choice) I think that she should be in the picture a bit more. Is she going to school? Is that how she is having a "bright future". Just because I don't understand it, doesn't mean that someone else doesn't though. I wasn't there, so I'm not getting the feel of the photo. I think this is a personal meaning photo. I think the main focus is suposed to be the girl, but the lighting and the focal point seem to draw me to the trunk of the car. I was thinking that this could be her new car, but she doesn't look handicapped. I guess I just have too many questions about this photo. I am keeping into consideration that I'm missing something obvious. And if this is the case, I'm very sorry. Someone said they didn't get my photo too, and I myself thought that it was very obvious. Good luck with the challenge.

I liked the photo but wasn't sure I felt it fit in well with the category and title.

Not really sure how this fits. A new car? What does the person add to the picture? It lacks artistic character.

The girl on the left distracts

A bright future for the car or the girl?

The bigest problem with this photo is the pixelation. You used 45,000 but you can go up to 153,600(150kb). I think that would make it alot crisper. Find a way to save with less compression. Let me know if i can help. Niten

Nice. Not too sure about the sun reflecting on the back of the car though.

Here is my honest response to this photo. I am not certain which is the subject, the car or the girl. I will assume that it is the girl, since the car will only degenerate from this point on. She is a nice subject with a great smile and hopefully a bright future, but she is not exposed well enough to really see her. The image is composed such that she hasn't fully entered the frame, which might be okay except that the background is so distracting that it dominates and becomes forground, which I presume you don't want. There may be a relationship between the girl and the car, but I don't have any visual clues to indicate that this is so, which leaves me wondering why the image is composed with the car so dominating the frame.

Who the girl or the bug? The girl seems too dark (shadowed) and off any kind of attention lines to be the subject, so I have to assume it's the car, which is old enough to have a regular california license plate. Less than appealing background. Good DOF. 5 Swash

Ok, I am completely missing the point of this one. Is the subject the girl, or the car? In either case, the girl seems to be in the shade too much. Is her future bright because she's a student... Does the handicapped spot have something to do with it? I'm sorry... I'm just lost.

...And 5 seconds later, hopefully, this inconsiderate person parking in the handicapped spot got towed.
