| Is the idea behing this that it's a "new storm"? I like the location of this. Nice with the leaves to the left, and the horizon like that. The horizon is a bit crooked in relation to the edge of the photo. You could tilt it a slight bit to the right and be just fine. I like the natural grey-ish blues. Good luck in the challenge. |

| The horizon is slightly tilted - if this was intentional, I don't think it adds anything. Otherwise, the photo does not hold my attention. Sorry ;} (sheepish grin) |

| This is an interesting concept for 'new'... The horizon is nice and level... I'm not sure that I really like the sharp contrast between the white and dark in the sky against the water in this one... seems a little flat :) - jmsetzler |

| This is a really atmospheric shot; it's full of drama, great lighting. What I really like is the way it also captures the sense of calm. Thus, it really does capture the beginning of a new stormâ€Â¦ (10) |

| The gloom is captured very well here without losing too much foreground detail. I think I might have cropped closer in to lose the bush in the lower left. |

| I like the title and the meaning of it but think it will be better with a better picture, the details in the sky should be bigger part of the pic and less sea in it. rate it 2:) |

| very nice mood in this photo. I think its slightly slanted though, maybe if you slightly rotated it clockwise... |
