Pos .. Great macro work, it is very focused.
Neg .. the composition could be improved .. for this particular subject, I think its a bit too close up. I would be nice if you could see more of the BBQ, even a night shot where you can see the flames underneath :D

These look soooo good, but I hope they are not on the same grill that the chipmunk was on! |

Pretty good focus here. Nice textures too. However as a photo it's not to appetizing. I would pull back on the crop a little. I would like to see the cooking process in a shot like this. As Emerill would say, "you need to call your cable operator and request that smell-o-vision" ;-) |

The black lines say hot off the grill, and the red patches say hot on the tongue. Nice effect. |

On the grill, yummmmmmmm! They look delicious but the presentation leaves something to be desired. The shot is almost too filled and the grill ends up being a distraction to me. The cropping isn't bad but since you have T-Bone in the title, to see a completed one would have really drove the point home for m. THere's part of one here, part of one there, kinda jumbled to me. I'm starting this one at a 5 but I will be back. |

Looks darn good. I like how you photographed them when they were done or at least almost done. They just wouldn't have the same effect raw. lol The angle kind of bothers me a bit. See at the top where we can see just a little edge of the grill? It's angled and tilted a bit like we are looking at it at a southwest kind of angle. If you cropped out the tiny little edge of the grill at the top, we wouldn't know how we were looking at it. I do like how you added part of the grill in the photo. Gives us an idea of how you cooked them. Yummy pic. ~Heather~ |

Looks good! I like the feel of this photo. Has an outdoor feel to it for me because of the clear lighting and the bit of grill showing. The meat looks great, just the way it should. I generally like the whole food item to be in the photo but I think this works perfectly, especially with the grill accent at the top. Nice job. 8 |

9.. would have been 10 except I think it needed one more contrasting element to balance image... perhaps even more of the pan edge would have worked. I know I'm being picky, but it's my opinion.
Oh, man I'm hungry |
