My sister is sitting in front of the memorial that bears our brother's name, along with 131 others who were taken suddenly from us.

The angle feels a little too straight on for me. This shot has a lot of potential; I would suggest trying different angles and playing with the DOF and lighting. Nice job.

Great photo. The human and emotional content is very high and is portrayed wonderfully. The colors are nice and the muted light helps convey the mood. I like the fact that the words are readable. I do think the slight tilt is distracting, but not too a huge extent. Nicely done. 7

This is a tricky shiot because of the angles of the image. The first thing I thought when I looked at it was I wish they had fixed the tilt of the memorial so it was straight. However, when looking at the bench, the angle isn't all that crooked. Still I think you need to work with the more powerful of the two which in this case would be the memorial. As for meeting the challenge this obviously does, and the colour/lightng is well done.

nothing seems horizontal in this - very disconcerting, even if it is really like that

Emotive and deep. A little right-tilted, though. I am talking abput the seat, of course. The plant on the right is a little distracting for my taste.
