That really is a true moment of serendipity - glad you were there to catch it! I am scoring 7 - mainly for the composition and for 'seeing' the photograph. The exposure is slightly out, causing the brightest whites to be blown, but that said, swans are notoriously dificult to expose properly, especially as on top of the different shades of white there is also the problem of light reflecting off the water. I would also prefer to see just a little more space around the swans and their reflections - as it they seem just a little too tightly boxed in. |
