Sorry, too small to get a better rank. 5

Good shot. Nice use of the 3rds. It has good composition. You might want to give it a little more contrast from photoshop if you have it. I like the background texture. Good angle. 5.

This image is too small to give proper feedback. The lighting also appears to be a bit weak and the tonal range rather flat as well.

Picture is a bit small. More contrast on the shadow would really make this image pop out of the picture. I like the wood grain that you captured.

interesting, but the pic seems small here

Used in many different recipes, spagetti sauce being my favorite. The shotis a bit small though I do like the cropping, having the garlic just off center. The lines on the table help draw you in but the clarity is a bit lacking and the shadows are undefined towards the back left. I'm giving this one a 5, maybe if you had broken the garlic open or crushed it like you were getting ready to use it?

To be truthful, I find little of interest in the photo. Perhaps the black & white aspect of it took out what could've been a nice contrast - whitish garlic against a wooden background (looks like wood could be wrong). The size of the photo does take away for me as well. May have added a bit of drama if the garlic was in one corner, with an expanse of background - giving it a depth of space and interest. That said, I do like the lighting, it creates some interesting shadows and the focus looks crisp on the end of the garlic. 4

An ingredient in a recipy rather than something created out of a recipy book.

Good subject. Dark though. Lots of shadow. You could have presented a larger picture.

B+W works here. But a slight focus problem and possibly stronger light or mixed light (hard right, soft left) might have worked better. Also, it isn't a prepared dish, so I can only go 8

Bit too small and lacks contrast.

It's a bit small to make a good judgement, but it seems like the lighting could have been a little better for this one. Sometimes it takes multiple light sources placed just right to balance the lighting evenly.

shame it is so small. I wonder if this is the most photogenic side of a piece of garlic ?

looks good...wish it were bigger...
