I scored it a 5... I think Cindi's right, the focus is the issue with this. I think overall it's a tad dark, though it could be argued that the underexposed elements match the subject, but I would still enhance your figure with curves or what have you to make you pop out a bit more. Composition is good, as with many of your photos, so you indeed have the "eye". It's likely the technicals and the post work that you could concentrate on. |

First, I gave you a six for composition & lighting... but the score scale ended there, the shot is a touch out of focus and well is soooooo "ordinary". Photography that grabs is new, different, something we don't see everyday... try a little harder and I'm sure you can get something more creative. |

A little too soft on the focus. I think an added stop would have helped the image. |

The soft focus here contributes to your "all night coding session" title quite a bit - things get fuzzy after awhile. Nice use of the screen light, too. |
