I LOVED the focus the way it is. And the grain, and the colors, and everything.

You are not even going to allow a little hint as to identity. Lol DPC voters do not show much mercy, but hey, I like the Magritte approach. Placing the focus on the fingers would have made this a stronger image. I know, it is difficult to self focus. One way to solve this problem is to get more light so that you would be forced to close down the lens giving you a more forgiving dof. Regardless, you get a score bump.

that pear doesn't look yummy..

you used a wide angle and because of that, your hand looks VERY big! colors are fresh and bright ;-)

I can't help but like this. It never ceases to amaze me how many different ways people come up with to hide their lovely faces. I like the texture on the pear and the two greens together.

This is different. I like the how vibrant the green of the pear is with the green of the background. What made you choose to cover your face with a pear for a self portrait? Very unique!

Hey, you can't fool me, that's not a real pear.

I'm not sure about this one. It seems that something should be in focus and maybe none of the pear should be covered by the hand.

too much noise and shadow. Also nothing is in focus, try macro next time.

I'm not sure this is really a self portrait: I can't see you much and I don't think you are a pear!?!

Next time, try again for better focus. :-)

I can see what you trying to do here. (a lot) stronger lighting was needed and a high aperture to get the whole scene in focus.. But I think the lighting lets this shots down.. still, dishing out a 6 for effort and idea.. if you had nailed this shot then it would of been a 8 or 9
