How to Calculate the Circumference of a Circle

The circumference of a circle is the distance around the outside. Here's how to calculate it.

1. Find out the diameter of the circle. The diameter is the distance across the middle of a circle from one side to the other.
2. If only the radius (the distance from the center to the outside) of the circle is known, multiply it by 2 to determine the diameter.
3. Multiply the diameter by Pi (3.1416) to find the circumference.
4. Alternatively, divide the diameter by 0.3183 to find the circumference.

it seems really vivid, but this is exactly how it looked in reality!

Strange as it looks a bit blurry and oversharped at the same time

The idea is okay although a different POV (I'm thinking of a higher one) would have brought much more appeal to the photo. A major weakness is the amount of sharpening; there is too much of it.

Challenge topic:
Title : 'Circumference = 2 * Pi * Radius' is more "mathematics" than science to me.
Image: If I were exposed to this shot without any pre-knowledge of the category, I would have guessed this was some type of 'Autumn' entry, not science.

Techie stuff: The lighting and colors seem a bit harsh to me.

Oh great, just what we need, one more hillbilly photographing crop circles in her back yard. What else do you see out there? Elvis, Santa Claus and Rudolph the red nose reindeer? Well guess what? Rudolph is DEAD and you know where to find him or at least his hooves. I'm so upset. I don't know why you continue your delusional assaults. And that blur in the far right corner looks like a beagle consuming feces.

Good concept. I like this, but the colors seem a bit off to me - maybe too yellow?

Again, without the title, there is no science visible....There is too much going on in this picture. Its almost hard on the eyes with the specks of yellow and high contrast trees.

The colors are brilliant, and I really like the leaf-covered water. The relationship to the challenge is tenuous at best, though.

I like the cranberry bog. I would use a lttle more contrast and back off on the ole "amarillo" nice early fall shot

Interesting colours and subject, but the science is a bit of a stretch.
