 This was taken in my darkened closet. Only a sliver of daylight managed to sneak under the door.

In retrospect, shooting this wide open probably didn't give me the best image quality. Still, I had a fun time shooting these.

They are this brilliant in a darkened room, though definitely not as soft and fuzzy. See the 2nd place entry by bod for a fantastic of what these plasma balls look like in real time.
