 Giving R72 infrared filter a try inpired by Marbo. I achieved the results without using any channel swaping or selective editing.


Auto Levels
Reduced Hue and Saturation (in its entirety at the master level)
.5 rotate clockwise to straighten
Crop
Increased Curves slightly to lighten entire photo(in its entirety)
Unsharp Mask
Add Border
Image Size
Unsharp Mask
Convert to profile (srgb)
Save for web.

Thank you for all the votes. I noticed this pond duirng an autumn hay ride and took a shot. It was so reflective but the trees were still green. So the reflection challenge came and I went back to the farm and since the hay rides were over I had to ask permission to go and shoot. They agreed. I got there and all the leaves were gone. Our fall went from green to nothing or green to yellow then nothing. So I decided to give the R72 a try since I had a nice reflection. I did bracket and in hindsight should have used one that had a better exposure in the middle (where its blown out), This one converted better than the other brackets. I wish I had advanced editing bc I did burn the middle on an outtake. Thanks so much to Marbo for the inspiration and to everyone for the votes.

beautiful relection. I would have tried to position somewhere without the foreground. It seems to distract (IMO).

Cool pic. if the center of the trees weren't blown out it would be really good. maybe crop the shrubs in the foreground
