 A bowl of hot and spicy Sichuan style niu rou mian (็‰›่‚‰้บต) from Chuan Wei Niu Rou Mian in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

It's a bowl of beef noodle soup, a very very traditional Chinese dish. Many say the specialty was truly developed by the Taiwanese, because many of China's best chefs fled to Taiwan during the cultural revolution.

This is Sichuan style, from the western parts of China. VERY spicy - couldn't feel my tongue for about two hours afterwards.
