This did better than I thought it would - I agree that the composition is lacking, but it felt really unbalanced when I cropped the top off, so I went with this.

In response to the charge that this photo has no purpose, I humbly offer this quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson as a defense:

"...if eyes were made for seeing,
Then Beauty is its own excuse for being"

The reflections in the water really make this shot for me.

I love the colours and the shimmer on the water, but the branch is a bit too centred for my taste.

Love the color of this photo. Interesting combination of abstract with realism for a very nice photograph.

I really like the colours reflected in the water and the ripples. The crop is odd. The stick is too centered and the whole image feels tilted. I would straighten it up a bit and crop off most of the top.

Really nice and smooth. I think there is a bit too much blue, perhaps pulling the blue curve down a tiny bit would make the other colors pop more. Nicely composed and framed. :)

Very pretty! Its so simple -- yet so rich and beautiful with those amazing colors reflected in the water! Wow!

I really like this, but I think you pushed the blue to a point past realistic. The orange and reds, ok, fine for this time of year. It's the blue on the branch in the water that seems too much for me. Otherwise, great eye to see this. Good luck in the challenge.

this doesn't work for me. The image needs purpose and I can't find it.

Very nice colors here. Little bit too centered composition for my taste I would crop some of the top dark part of the picture.
