 Editing... I copied the image in color and put it on a second layer. selected the pumpkin, inverted the selection, then desaturate. used the eraser tool at 5% to erase the top (black and white) layer to see some of the orange reflection in the water (on the color layer behind). sharpened once. cropped. lightened the shadows on the face, upped the contrast just a little.

That is SO CUTE!!!!!!! I love your composition and the selective desaturation works perfect on thsi shot! One of my favorites -- and in fact, it is going into my favorites :) I find it flawless :) 10

Very cute! The lighting is a bit too harsh. Makes it hard to pick out details on the otters' faces. Also, the pumpkin looks a bit out of focus. But very nice work: 6!

Nice colour in the water, but perhaps could have been masked better pre-desaturation or focal black and white.
