Don't like the odd constructive critique? Why did you not mark those comment helpful too? I'm intrigued.

Nice composition. Many tried to leave one side blank, but few succeeded. 8

Nice. I feel that this would have been more effective if your subject were just a little further right or completely far right to emphasise the vacant memory - a bit like a pregant pause in speech.

I like this a lot - very expressive face.

I like it and think it meets the challenge perfectly...much more then most of the photos I've looked at so far. I think you'll do well.

I think this was a 'compositional' challenge, and this is a great unconventional compostion. The composition totally adds strength to the story being told by her gaze and pose (and the title). I really like this.

Too much negative space. With the subjects right ear off the edge, it almost looks like the negative space is pushing her off. Also seems like a bit too much post-processing. The skin color doesn't look right. But I do really enjoy the gaze. It looks very natural. Good job capturing that with this photo.

Too much neg. space on the right - IMO it is only there to produce the landscape orientation.

I like the contrast, lighting and pose. However, I am not sure what the Landscape format gives you but dead space...
