I was testing out a different lighting technique by using 2 Canon 550EX flashes in the room to re-create daylight coming through the window (shot was taken in late afternoon). I had both flashes bounce off the ceiling, one on the camera, and one in the corner by the window.
RAW process in CS2- raised color temp to 4900, cropped.

reminds me of JFK JR's baby photo in the TIME archives (albeit it was in B/W)

There is so much potential in this photo. Perspective is great. Consider cropping top to eliminate "clutter" that takes eye away from focal point.

very cute shot. though i would have maybe cropped it so that there was no space above the bar of the crib, that kind of takes away from the image.

The lighting for this shot is nice and soft, but I think I would prefer a photo that didn't include the crib bars--they hide those lovely eyes!

the eye comp is good...the rest of the image comp is bad.

Cropping a little off the top would have removed some distractions and focused more on her beautiful little face. Adorable model!!!

I suggest cropping out the blobs in the upper left. I don't need to see the top of the railing. I like the missing eye. Great expression. 6
