Another last-minute shot and submission.

The binary data pattern was a reflection from my laptop screen. I propped up the laptop so that the screen was facing down and would be visible in the mirror-like surface of the hard drive platter.

This would make a good advertising image. Very well done. I like the overall blue tone, the lack of significant detail around the edges, and I like the concept you've chosen for "exposed".

Okay, how did you do that???? Even though the hard drive was done to death in this challenge each one was different and your's, without a doubt is the most inventive and unique. I love it! The 0 and 1's are slightly off making me think the system is about to LOSE your data! :) The lighting is well done but just a tad dark for my taste. I'm starting this one at an 8

OH WOW! Ingenious effect! I had a favorite HD pick, but you just topped it! Nicely done, and good luck! I'm interested in knowing how this was done. I'm guessing either a print out or a mirror!

Adorable concept! Focus looks good, but it's not easy to judge. The image looks a bit underexposed.

Very nice with the binary showing. I'd be interested to know how you managed that. Nice shot.

this is neat, does your hard drive platter really have 0\'s and 1\'s printed on it? or is it a projection or something? I can\'t quite figure this out.
