 This picture was rather unintentional, taken while I was working on another idea that didn't turn out so well. I decided I liked it when I was going through all the pictures on my computer, but by then my subjects had wandered off and I couldn't get them to pose again. I had hoped to re-do it to get rid of the bright areas on the cat to the right, but oh well. (Please forgive my lack of terminology; I'm just starting to learn all that.) I didn't do much editing, just minor curves and saturation adjustments, black border, and resize and save for web. Hope it's a decent portrait in landscape format...

I like the way the cats face is shown in profile here rather than face on. Nice shot.

I love this for the warm fuzzies (have 2 cats also - but they're not friends yet). :D The blown out highlights are a major bummer. A different crop might have helped eliminate some of it and seeing how the editing rules are advanced for this challenge you could have cleaned it up a little. Looks like everything else is in place - some will complain about the frame, but oh well. :) Good luck in the challenge.
