After one of our wells went dry, we had to get our 1917 Aermotor Windmill to pump way up a hill to a holding tank. Hence the solar powered windmill and pump; modern and aged science.

Did you mean to include the power lines in the background? They make the picture more interesting for this challenge :)

Funny thing, a windmill powered by sun, but I guess it was mostly for the title. :-) Neat shot, I like the colours too!

Too bad you couldn't move those tree in the background. That would really make it easier to see the main subjects. Nice composition.

The windmill against that sky is beautiful - the solar panel juxtaposition is perfect. The trees behind detract a bit though.
