Not a bad photo, but the d-sat doesn't really work for me, and the greens are just way too light.

Spent some time on that selective desat I'll bet. :) Interesting approach to the challenge. The branch certainly stands out this way. The lighting is somewhat harsh and you've lost detail in a couple of places. May have also pushed the saturation just a little too much. Not really seeing a whole lot of 'Wind' here. If there is motion indicating some wind it's not evident in a strong enough manner IMO. All JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.

Works well to depict "wind" - the saturated portion may be just a bit too centered for my taste - more to the left to give the invisible wind more room to move out of the picture, maybe.

The sharpening and contrast feels too hard unfortunately, making it very difficult to look at. I do like the idea behind it though: isolating the branch from the background with selective desat :)

Nice use of selective color and the wispy ends of the branches are good at carrying the challenge message to the viewer (Windy).
