This is my first submission in a long time here at DPC.

The photo was captured in the 2 minutes of sunshine this area has recieved all week.

Post Processing:
Adjusted Contrast,Brightness, Hue.
Cloned out distracting branch in background.
Added a white border.

if you can take this shot again, i'd blur the background some more so the building and cars aren't as noticable

very pretty, just don't like the carpark in the background - not sure if that's the effect you were going for?

Back to comment: An interesting take on the challenge, shooting nature against an urban background. However, the lighting on the flowers is really not that good, as the flowers tend to blend into the background. Even if the flowers would have been shot during a different time a day with better light, the subject you choose still would not have scored very well at DPC for it is not all that interesting in itself.

The flowers and clouds are nice. The cars in the background are not helping though. You might have tried a lower angle for the shot to keep them out of it. Always pay attention to the background when you try to compose a picture. That helps me!

The shot is a bit dark in the foreground and the building and the cars in the background are not pleasing to the eye.

Nice close up, but the background is a little distracting. Of course, without the background, it would be hard to call this a landscape.

The lighting on the plant really kills this, no zap no power as such
