I like the idea of this picture quite a bit, very much actually. However, IMO, as an entry to a challenge, especially a free study, it looks sort of too "sloppy" to get a good score. It is tilted, and even though tilt might work here, it is not tilted enough to look intentional (it looks accidental). The windshield looks hazy and dirty. The colours are too much into the yellows.
A couple ideas to try: (1) a clean windshield; (2) anchoring the camera more to one side maybe, or maybe rotating the camera slightly; (3) adjusting colours in post-processing. |

It's interesting the things the eye finds to focus in on with a shot like this. For example, it's good to see that you decided NOT to put on the sunglasses while you were driving down the dark street at 59 mph while holding up a camera to take a long exposure shot. That just seems dangerous :P That is quite a lot of colored lights though surrounding you! |

I really like the light trails in this shot, though the car seems to be at something of an angle, which is a bit distracting. |

haha ive done one exactly like this. at fisrt
glance i thought it was mine.
its really hard to hold a camera sill for a long
shutter shot in a car. i like that
the dashboard is still sharp despite
all the movement you must of had.
looks good :D |

What a great feel this image has! I love the creativity of this image - the motion of the lights and the stillness of the dashboard.
Question - How did you mount the cameral to capture the image? |

Very creative! While not technically the best, it has a 'happy' feel to it & I've enjoyed seeing this. |

Interesting experiment...the light trails are fun to view. The image itself needs a boost in contrast and some of the yellows backed down a bit to add punch. |
