During a busy, warm day when hundereds of people were walking along the shore of the Thames near the Tate, I spotted this guy by himself, having a chat on his phone so I opened the lens all the way to shut out the foreground/background, metered on the sand just in front of him, and took the shot.

Great isolation of the person with the minimal depth of field.
A good example of composition and leading lines.
Genarally leading lines lead to the subject, but in this example leading away works well to add depth.
