a little hard to see the flowers with that background.

I think your processing enhances the best qualities of this photograph, its chaotic but coherent feeling. I love how the daisies defy my expectation for them to be white. This has all the pleasures of abstract expressionism. 9

sorry. too confusing. I know bokeh is the focus, but it should connect to the foreground or subject

Back to comment - Well you surely have bokeh going on here but it is so busy that it really takes away from your front image rather than adding to it. It competes with it and overpowers your flowers. The flowers are also a bit on the dark side which doesnt help them against the brighter background. It is visually alot to take in without a primary focus.

To me, the background is competing with the single flower!

You have some great bokeh here, but the flowers seem to be in a big shadow, which I feel takes away from the photo. The foreground and background blend together, and it's hard to find the focus point. HOpe this helps.

Could do with some fill flash.

The background is too busy for me.

The background rips my attention away from the focal point which is supposed to be the flowers. Too many colors competing for attention. The foreground is in shadow while the background is bright. This only helps pull the attention past the flowers.

More lightr on the flower and maybe less on the background would have made this photo better IMO.

I find the background intensly distracting and the lighting unappealing in this image. With the flowers in focus and centered in your composition, they must be the subject, no?
