 I used a colorful scarf as a background for this shoot and held the flower in one hand while shooting with the other. Cropped (just a little - my finger got in the way), auto levels, USM.

You'll probably get dinged for a bit of color noise in this but the composition is lovely and the bokeh definitely serves to highlight your subject both with light and color.

I like this perspective, good composition. It would help to use noise reduction on the blury parts as they are a bit noisy.

This is nice. One of the better single flower images. You have a nice placement of the in focus front flower and your blurred background offers pleasant colors that compliments it well. While maybe not what most are looking for in bokeh I think you met the challenge well with a pleasing image that was enhanced by the background. Very pretty and pleasing shot.

Very pretty. Something about the cool pastels with the warm brownish orange of the zinnia. I'm looking at this again and I'm really liking this more and more. Bumping up.
