part of a preserved heritage steam railway.

there were no trains running today; visitors are only allowed down onto the track while there are no trains ( handy) wanted the rail tracks to be the main feature of the photo also waited for other visitors to leave the platform to get more deserted feeling

Not enough interest without a train or people waiting for the train. The sky is also pretty flat.

England, right? Wonderful shot with lots of 'old world' detail. I can just imagine the passengers queueing (sp?) up for the train.

There is something about this picture I like, hm... would have liked to see it in color also, but this is nice :o)

Great shot, wonderful lines, but the blown highlights on the right side platform detract as the eye naturally moves to the lightest part of the photo, pulling it away from the focus of the rails.

This looks like a quaint little part of town. Fun place to walk around some with camera in hand. :D The image is fine for the most part. I do find my focus as a viewer split between the left and right sides of the track, then down the line. Hard to find a comfortable place to rest and visit this image for awhile. Honestly, there isn't anything really jumping out saying "look at me", but it's ok. Best of luck to you in the challenge.
