 Image taken with 500 MM manual lens, fixed at F/8.

Opened NEF in PSCS2 (Raw Adjustments: Exposure +1.65, shadows 1, Brightness 59, Contrast +34, Vignetting -100) Cropped Unsharp Mask, Selective Color, Selected eyes, Adjusted selective colors again to brighten eyes, Adjusted Hue/sat in eyes, deselected cloned out some spots, resized, saved for web.

After my own heart here...I ADORE tigers! Nice softness and beautiful color. My only complaint is that I'd crop out more off the top; the greenery, though nice and establishes a more natural setting, is distracting and I would rather be drawn into the tiger's gaze immediately. Good luck in the challenge! :)

I LOVE IT!!!!! If I could give it 2 10s I would. The quality is unbeliveable and so are the colors not to mention the pose. Absolutely amazing! Favorite written all over it!!!!!

Oh how PRETTY! "My" kind of photo for sure! I love the softness of it. Too much sharpening on animal fur ruins it imo -- and this one is just right! Beautiful rich colors -- Aren't tigers just so amazingly photogenic? I hope your tiger is scoring as good as they were nice enough to score mine at :)
