| I opened this one up earlier when browsing through before voting and I was pleased that it was as cool as I had hoped from thumbnail. Great detail and excellent DOF. The mantis color is a great contrast the rest of the image and the background and foreground blur really add well. On eof my top picks of the challenge so far. Its too cold where I live for these guys to be hanging out anymore - I am jealous. |

| This has great DOF and the detail on his face is great. I know how hard it is to capture these guys cause I did it the other day and my shots were horrible. The vivid green is really saturated, but just looks lush and delicious and not overdone. I sense a touch tight on the crop, as his leg is "cut off" just a smidge. |
