From the image, (without looking at title) I first thought it was a DNMC image as it looks like a barn door or something. But then realized it may be an old boxcar and then saw the title.

This is an interesting image. I wish you didn't have to rely on the title so much to get the point across. Nice color and texture. Good luck in the challenge.

Overall a nice shot. Composition, colors and contrast are great. What really distracts me is your use of focus/sharpening: the wood is really sharp and crisp but the hinges are not. Thus detail gets lost and the viewers eye is drawn to the lower right corner of the shot.

Very nice texture, just love the strong looking locks and chains, noticed this also on my lookout for old trains and what they used. You've captured the time period very well..

really nice detail and rustiness...perhaps without your title, this doesn't really convey trains and railroads, so viewers have to look at the title, but a nice image and good composition 7
