And what a lovely view it is! Some day I will get over there, heck only 6 hours away now! ;)
The shot is cropped well, the center of attention, the Empire State Building, I believe, stands out and brings you right into the shot. The clarity and sharpness is wanting and must have been difficult with the distance you were working with. Also the trees on the left, while adding that splash of color are a bit distracting, maybe just a slightly tighter crop? |

| A little on the hazy side this pic. I would gone more with landscape format instead of portrait. Either that or used more of a wider angle. Also I would have moved your shooting position a little to the left and gotten in more of the cityscape. By moving more to the left you wouldn't have gotten in the lines of the bridge which are a little distracting. Just the thoughts that jumped to mind when I clicked on your pic. |

| The picture looks very soft, with perhaps too much pixelation (from up-sizing?). The tree in the lower left corner is also distracting... and composition-wise I would have the tall building framed somewhere to the left of the frame rather than dead center. |

| Kinda hazy; composition might be more interesting with the large building off-center... remember the rule of thirds. |

| Must have been a hot day, there's that sense of heat waves that surround the buildings. Cool how they start to blend with the sky the way mountains do. |

| blur and saturated. technical weaknesses aside, a good angel and cropping. but nothing outstanding. 6 |
