I'm new to DPChallenge, but this photo caught my eye. It looks just like the rocks at one of my favorite spots on this earth, on a Maine island that I visit each summer! So I was not surprised to find that it was taken in Newfoundland, just a stone's throw up the coast. Beautiful shot!

Nice composition. Well done on the result. I notice all your winning images are shot in a high ISO mode. You must have to be careful with the noise issue. This one looks like it was processed using strong noise reduction software at a fairly aggressive setting.

I get some strange feeling of comfort looking at this picture, i think i've lived this moment myself. I can hear the roar in the ocean. Great!

This should be a blue ribbon for sure, at least it is in my book! Absolutely stunning! Everything about it... perfect! Love how they seem to be looking right at the big wave rolling in. Like the soft highlights and colors . Really makes me miss the shore even more! Beautiful! 10!!!!!!!
