 Not all shots have to be set up in a studio where the light can be controlled and manuipulated. The reflected light from the buildings on the opposite side of the street briefly lite up the vases in this store window.

The RAW exposure was adjusted for saturation, color temperature, and shadow and high lights. Cropped and readied for the web using ps.

The diffuse light works wonders in helping us percieve the elegant shape of the pots. And that gratuitous hubcap adds a sense of whimsy to an otherwise very staid and formal composition. I like it.
