This was shot in my dining room near a window and I thought about perhaps just letting nature do the work with the lighting but that meant waking up at sunrise and that wasn't about to happen. :) So artifical light it is. Shot for the MS Tourney and will probably bomb. Predicted score: 5.70 which means I can probably kiss that dream of a 6.0 average goodbye.

The duotone coloring is rich but doesn't show off the lighting choice. I like the intense crispness of the image but the foreground red apple appears a bit oversharpened on the left side. 6

Cooper-toned. Cool effect.

This has appealing texture and great clarity - the composition could be more exciting and the duotone effect i would prefer with just a bit less color (more greyscale). 7

I am sure you put some elbow grease into this one and it was worth it.

I love everything about this shot. The light, the color tones, the clarity... makes me want to take a bite! Well done!

Technically very nice, and I definitely like it, but I find the duotone a little over-done. Perhaps taking some of the "ink" out of the highlights will provide a more balanced tonal sense.

Why the sepia tone? Wouldn't the colours of the apples have made the light sparkle more? Lovely idea and composition

Very smooth and sharp. Almost plasticy looking, but I like it! Very nice tone among the apples, and great lighting. Excellent! After a quick look over the rest, my opinion is top 10.
