Black and white is a good choice here. Could use some more contrast in the sky, but that might just be a preference thing.

The black and white hurts this shot I feel, the buildings all end up blending in with each other and there is no real distinction between them. The shot is wonderful otherwise.

When the skies are overcast I find going B & W does a lot for a photo otherwise the sky just looks plain blown out. You made the right choice on that.
