this image calls to mind when my dad would wake me up very early as a kid - and my body would shiver even though it was warm as we got stuff into the car to go fishing. A warm and nostalgic memory indeed.
I find myself wondering what the exposure is here - if you had some poor guy holding very still in that position for a 1/2 second exposure? Whatever you did it yeilded a very nice image that is worthy of any professional ad campaign. 8 |

| I like this photo a lot and gave it a 9. I cannot think of the term for the darkened corners but I think it is vignetting. The vignetting is actually detracting a bit from the phot and keeping it pretty dark (already adjusted monitor to insure proper brightness). I feel that you were certainly going for the silohuette of the fisher man and there are a lot of dark areas, but I think if the vignetting was reduced by about 50%, this would have been a 10. |

| LOVELY. I love the diagonal line of the rod against the more horizontals of the shore, horizon, and dock. Lovely deep shades of blue with that hint of yellowy orange. |
