Dead urban ;( Very interesting take on the challenge, I like it. The different heights of the crosses really brings you into the shot, building up to the back, very nice. A tad too much sky for my taste but an overall good use of space. And the black and white work very well with this shot, a touch more contrast and you would have 9 or 10 from me ;) |

Nice work here. Good sky and tonal quality throughout. Might have had the horizon a little higher in the frame. 9 -danny |

nice. good use of b/w treatment. gray tones help convey the gloomy, solemn feel. |

This is an awesome picture! Totally different take on the theme. Love all the crosses sticking up, the negative space above, and the b&w.
Great job! |

A good shot but I would have cropped the top quarter of the sky off it is too bland and detracts from the drama of the rest of the shot. |

I like this, appropiately, gloomy shot. The (shaded) foreground reveals little detail beyond one of locale and setting, which effectively silhouettes the skyline (tomb rooves and crosses) against a frayed cloudscape. An unusual, thought-provoking interpretation, and an interesting one with an aptly coined title. |

Nicely done. The only thing I would've done is crop just a little more of the sky out of the shot. |

Striking, but would have been more so with more contrast |

Good title, it gives it kind of a Greek flavour. The photo is very well done, good concept |

Very imaginative title! Great shot, tricky to expose for and you managed very well. Effective composition. Nice use of duotone. I like the textures. 8 |

guess each photographer has their own way of interpreting the theme for the challenge, although i might not really consider this as an urban landscape, but since u view it as NECROPOLIS, your own way of looking at it, i give you a 9 for originality, 4 for closeness to theme, 10 for a good shot, and an 8 as the picture itself, with your total average of 7.75, so ill just round it off ang give u an 8 as a score.great job! |
