I visited Hickory's Oktoberfest celebration today. I spent over 9 hours at the festival, and I took in several phenomenally good bands during the course of the day. This photo is of Henry Peralta of the band "Peralta."
I enjoy photographing live performances, especially musicians. Part of my enjoyment comes from working in the natural lighting of stage lights. This photo, however, is lit by sunlight rather than stage light. This performance was late afternoon and the sun was low on the horizon...
