Good building, good color.

I haven't seen a working grain elevator in quite a few years. Understand your reasoning for the view of the photo, but I just wish the whole thing could have been in the light. Great shot and use of the materials at hand.

Country urban, I like it. The balance is good, not quite centered, helps draw me in. The lighting does throw me off a bit on the dark side of the building, maybe it's the direction you took the shot from that is throwing me. The shadow across the front on the lower side of the building draws you attention down and out of the photo for me.

While you meet the challenge, this photo seems to lack a punch. There is no focal point.

half the building is in dark shadow..
nice siluette though, try picture this on evening (if you live north side of the planet :), when the sun is lightining the other side of the building too.

I like how the blue emcompasses the building.

Too much neat image. Lost all your details. A little overboard on the usm also. The composition is ok, maybe not so much blank space on the left. Neat image and usm are great tools, but the best way to get a good picture is to shoot it better.

I wish you'd taken this at a time of day when there was sun on both sides of the building.

The contrast in lighting between the front and the side is striking, and the building's texture shows up well.
