The peak is nicely placed in the frame. Interesting and unsettling texture for what it is.

Sweet! hehe. I first thought fudge because of the crumbs. Great macro. I like the use of the sunlight for this. The only drawback for me is the indents up on the top right.

This image is a bit disconcerting to me. Even with the title and description, I had to look at it for a while before I figured out just what I was looking at.

Compositionally, my eye gets pulled to the peak of the light/dark border in the upper left, but there isn't enough interest in the crumbs there to hold me, so it wanders down to the blurry lower right. I'm undecided whether I'd prefer the chocolate to be more identifiable or not though.

crumbs are often unattractive. they create an impulse to clean them up. One doesn't want to gaze at them. That being said, I do like the rich colors here, plus I do get an almost poignant sense of brokenness. but to be honest nothing that holds my interest for very long.
