The little guy is competing with the most powerful energy source in the solar system for our attention. He can't win. If he's the subject of the photo, turn the camera around and let the sun highlight him.

Stunning.

Just to be picky because I really like this one, I'd say maybe try to use a fill flash (very soft!!!) or a bounce board just to highlight the child a little little bit.

But I'm being picky. It works as is.

Beautiful, but the child needs to be put in an area where theres no bushes, or where hes better viewable.
