The Golden Bear Cafe's roof had always interested me, so I went up to the top of Barrows hall and shot looking downwards.

this is really hard to tell what it is. I thought it was the side of a building from the thumbnail, now I'm thinking it might be the top. I like it, element of optical illusion. am also kind of confused.

Well taken picture. Very interesting pattern in the roofs. Almost looks like a basket weave.

I sure hope this one ribbons. I like the abstract element of it. I'd like a little more of a straight horizon, but 10 regardless. -danny

Very cool pattern here! The thing that's most interesting about this shot to me is the fact that I have no idea how big that thing is. I can't tell whether the metallic thing is a huge contraption, or tiny. Very slick! - 8

Very interesting composition. It is unique shot in this challenge, but I do not like the white border, especially it is not balanced all around, which throws it off a bit.

Interesting patterned shot but I find it to be overexposed. Needs more contrast.

I hope others do not just rely on the thumbnail.

Just a little crop along the top and left to get rid of that small bit green would have given this picture a certain something. However 9 from me.

Another shot I just love! The title is perfect, in the thumbnail it looks exactly like a ship sailing. Even after close examination of the picture I'm trying to figure out exactly what this is! I know it's buildings but how do you get in? Where are the alleys, the sidewalks? Can't wait to see the explaination on this one. Great shot, great colors, excellent overall!

Like this view. Gives it a feeling of a woven fabric more than a building.Good use of the ROT.

I like this image - a different perspective on photographing urban. What kind of building is this? It's very interesting from the top. :-)

Awesome...I absolutely love this one. I'm not usually a particularly high marker but I have to give this 9. My only criticism is the spot of greenery in the top left hand corner which is a bit of a distraction. I hope you get a ribbon for this.
